Quick AI preset
Fix photo light
Upload one photo to balance exposure, white balance, shadows, and highlights while keeping the original face, framing, and natural texture.

About this preset
Fix Photo Light is for photos that are almost right but too dark, too bright, backlit, or color-tinted. Upload one image and the preset makes a light, photorealistic correction to exposure and color balance.
It keeps the same face, pose, crop, background, and real textures, so the image still feels like your original photo - just more correctly lit.
What the preset changes
This preset focuses on common lighting problems: uneven exposure, unnatural white balance, color casts, crushed shadows, and harsh highlights that hide detail.
It does not restage the photo, crop it, smooth skin, reshape faces or bodies, add objects, remove objects, or turn the image into a heavily edited beauty shot.
Best photos to upload
Choose a clear photo where the subject is visible and the lighting issue is fixable, such as a dim indoor shot, a slightly backlit portrait, or a picture with a warm, cool, or green color cast.
Use the highest-resolution version you have. Very blurry photos, extremely dark images, or areas that are fully blown out may not have enough visible detail for a natural correction.
What to expect from the result
The result should look like the same photo with cleaner lighting: more balanced brightness, more natural color, and better detail where the image allows it.
The correction is intentionally subtle. It is made for realistic photo fixes, not dramatic relighting, fantasy edits, or a new studio setup.
Save a cleaner version
After the AI generates your corrected image, you can save or share the version that looks best. It is useful for profile photos, casual portraits, product snapshots, family pictures, and quick posts where the original lighting got in the way.
Fix photo light FAQ
How can I fix bad lighting in a photo?
Upload one photo and use this preset to balance exposure, white balance, shadows, and highlights. It is designed to make the photo look more naturally captured without changing the subject or composition.
Can it fix a backlit photo?
It can help with some backlit photos by clarifying the visible subject lighting and balancing the overall exposure. If the subject is almost completely black or the background is fully white, some lost detail may not be recoverable.
Can it fix too much bright light in a picture?
The preset can reduce the look of harsh highlights when there is still detail in the bright areas. If a section is completely blown out, the AI may not be able to restore true original detail.
Will it change my face, pose, or background?
The preset is designed to preserve the same person, expression, pose, clothing, crop, background, and natural texture. As with any AI edit, results can vary, so review the final image before using it.
Can I use an iPhone photo?
Yes. Use the original iPhone photo or the largest version available, not a compressed screenshot if possible. A clear source photo gives the AI more detail to work with.
Is this a full photo editor?
No. This is a quick one-photo AI lighting correction preset. It is not meant for object removal, cropping, skin smoothing, face reshaping, or heavy retouching.
